Required Educational Qualification: 

• Professor (Planning): Bachelors  Degree in  Architecture or Planning or Engineering or Technology AND a  Masters  Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or MastersDegree and Ph.D or equivalent in the discipline. OR Masters  in  Economics or  Sociology or   Geography and a  Masters  Degree  in  Planning  with  First Class  or  equivalent  in BOTH the  two  Masters  Degrees  AND  Ph.D  or  equivalent  in  the discipline.

• Associate Professor (Planning): Equivalence of  First  Class is a  minimum  of 60% in aggregate, if a  class or  division isnot awarded.Equivalence  for  Ph.D  is  having  minimum  publication  of  five (5) international  journal papers, each journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, withcandidate as the main author with certification for impact index value.
• Assistant Professor (Planning): Bachelors  Degree  in  Architecture/Planning/Technology/Engineering AND Masters  Degree  in Planning with First Class or equivalent eitherin Bachelors or Masters Degree.OR Masters Degree in  Economics or Geography or Sociology and a  Masters  Degree  in  Planning  with First Class or equivalent in BOTH the two Masters degrees.
• Professor (Architecture): B.Arch and M.Arch or related discipline with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree and Ph.D orequivalent in the discipline.
